STEP8IGHT was started by creator and former radio DJ Chan Phei Yong. Launching a label was step eight on his list for his thirties. The first piece was a reversible oversized blazer with a party side and a calm side.
Since then, every release has carried a number. There are fifteen drops so far, plus a scent line and a few crossovers, all from Petaling Jaya.
